George Thengummoottil is an Indian filmmaker and documentary editor. He has worked in several aspects for several documentaries and feature films including the 2022 Academy award winning documentary ‘The Elephant Whisperers’. His films have been nominated for several film festivals like International Documentary and short-film festival of Kerala and CMS Vatavaran film festival.
After his Masters in Journalism and Filmmaking, he started his career by creating short documentaries, while working at Felis Creations, a visual arts company started by National Geographic Trustee Sandesh Kadur. In 2022, he founded Moundain Films, which specializes on production and post-production of documentaries.
